I still rewatch a bunch of Denali Wind’s videos. I do hope she returns to the bjd hobby - or, to publicly sharing her hobby - someday, but even if she never comes back she’s still one of my biggest inspirations. I didn’t used to care about bjd stories and didn’t get why people were so into the characters thing; through watching Denali’s videos, it gradually changed my mind and made me appreciate a whole different side of the hobby. Anyway, I wish her well whatever she is doing these days, she’s brought a lot of joy.

I really enjoy the bjd Youtube community. Watching, or rather listening to the videos in the background, has made this very busy and frustrating work project bearable. I especially like Anne Pecaro’s videos. In addition to having an enchantingly quirky doll world, she has such a great voice, simultaneously peppy and mellow. She ought to do audio book narration or something.
